I hope this finds everyone well today. I am so ready to go home let me tell you! We are moving this weekend....AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!! and are just about finished already, if you can believe that!
Well, my big announcement.........drumroll please...........
I'm pregnant!
Can you believe it? Since I have nothing else going: moving, Aiken's new therapy stuff, graduation, etc... This is definitely not a planned thing, but neither was Aiken, so I guess we just roll with the punches.
I got the ++ hpt this morning, and just got the call from the dr's office with the numbers...a little low, so I go back on Monday, but nothing to really worry about yet I think. Please pray for higher numbers over the weekend though!!! We scheduled appts already based on the hpt, but took blood just to make sure everything is okay in there. ;)
I must at this point give a HUGE shout out to all of the brave ladies over at the Precon diaries. I have been reading their entries there since Aiken was about 2 I think, or even longer. (Aimee, I've been with you since you started...) I was diagnosed with PCOS last December, and given little to no chance of ever conceiving on my own. So this little surprise is more of a miracle than they already know! Ladies, I have laughed/cried/gotten angry/rejoiced with you all since then. Your stories have touched so many lives, including my own, and you have helped me learn so many things, about people, myself, even my body that I could have never imagined otherwise. I owe such a huge blanket of thank-yous to that group there!!
Well before I get emotional, let me just conclude with some stuff: I feel fine, except for really sore bbs, stairs are impossible, and I get kinda bleck if I don't eat soon enough. Emotional wise: I am going to be a wreck! I cried last week through an NFL commercial about providing phone cards for servicemen overseas to call home during the holidays. I am excited, nervous, and I must admit, it's already crossed my mind: What if he/she has problems like Aiken does? I would dearly love to hear from parents of multiple children, where one has some kind of "special need", what your emotions were when you found out you were suddenly parents of 2, or more....
Well I will let you all go. Thanks for reading, and I don't know how I'll do this pg thing, if it'll just become part of this diary or if I'll start another one over at Pregnancy Today.
Love to all!
Amanda :p
