Jennifer's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Introduction

My time here at iParenting has finally come to an end. I have been writing about my children here since April of 2000. I have had the oppertunity to meet some wonderful women and make some life-long friendships. Because of iParenting I have been given the oppertunity to tell the story of my life to the world and all those who cared enough to read. One day my precious children will have the chance to look back on these pages and see just how much they meant to me so long ago.
A lot has happened in the past 2 1/2 years since I have been here. We moved to Texas from Missouri and I began my diary on Preschoolers Today about Autumn, Gabriel and Matthew. I was able to chronicle the history of Matthew as he learned how to crawl, stand and walk. And I am now proud to say that he is starting to show signs of pronouncing real words. :0) In April of 2001 I was devastated to find out that my 4th pregnancy would end as a ectopic pregnancy at only 5 1/2 weeks along just as the one before did. Again the women of the iParenting community came to offer love and support. But the greatest moment for me as a diary writer was the day I got to announce my pregnancy with Christian as a healthy, happy, normal baby who was attached in my womb (Thank God!). Throughout these experiences you have all laughed with me (and at me I'm sure ;0)) as well as shared in my pains and sorrows. I want to thank everyone who has made me feel so welcome and made this journey of motherhood even more special.
A extra-special thank you to Jennifer S. of Toddlers Today for allowing me to become your biggest fan. It was so awesome to be able to follow your TTC journey and then watch as your dream came true through the birth of Collin. Christa V. of Babies Today and Preschoolers Today for always reminding me of the good times we had as we watched our children play together. I'll never-ever forget the day we went Christmas shopping and Austin busted his tooth. What an ordeal that was. ;0) Thank you to Corinne C. of Babies Today for always taking the time to be so honest in everything that you said. You have created such a special place in my heart and I will always remember how much your words touched me. I want to thank Megan M. of Babies Today (soon to be Moms Today) for always making me laugh, smile and cry. It seems like you've always known just what to say no matter what the situation was and I always feel better. Thank you too for being so honest and for being a friend to me...someone that you've never even met.
Last but hardly least, I want to thank my dearest, sweetest, online friend Tricia F. of Babies, Preschoolers and Children Today. Tricia...okay so I'm starting to cry! You were my very first real online friend and it has amazed me at how close we can be even though we've never seen each other. I love you more than you'll ever know and cannot wait until the day we finally get to meet. You've given me such love and support during some of the lowest points of my life. Just seeing your kiss marks on my chat would make my day. :0) I consider you one of my dearest and closests friends. There is no one like you!!

To all of my other readers and friends, thank you as well. I wish each and every one of you the best that life has to offer. May you cherish each moment that you have with you children and keep those memories alive in your hearts.

God bless and take care ya'll~~

Mark, Jennifer, Autumn, Gabriel, Matthew and Christian (5 1/2 months old and ready to crawl!) ;0)
