Shelly's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 1, 2003

Hmmm.... this date thing was suppose to be fixed by last weekend or so I was told. Oh well, it doesn't matter anymore anyway.

I am in the process of closing all my diaries. Due to financial hardship, raising gas prices, food, car insurance, rent and not enough income coming in, we are being forced to end our internet provider and our phone line. The newspaper is gone, and we are in the process of figuring out how to have a yard sale without a yard and in a place where we are not allow to do so-due to managment rules.
My dear sweet hubby has been holding back how bad things are until last night. SO things must go. I have all the nice expensive antiques my great grandparents gave me and they must go., My diamond wedding ring-thank goodness is nice, not big, but nice. everything nice is going to go. If it can fetch a fair price it is gone. All my scrap booking things, sewing machines, everything. Everything anyone has ever given me-which is most of what I own. The antique dining set my grandmother is sending me is going when it gets here.
Ken is trying to find a second job, but keeps getting told he is over qualitfied. Of course he is, but we need the extra money to pay the basic bills of our lives. Our utilities are going up as well as a new tax in our city.
I will need to stop going to Sean's therapy since I can't afford the gas to get there. It is a ways away. I have a tank of gas in my huge van that has to last me until the end of July. I have a billion trips to Sean's drs appts and his surgery.
we will make it somehow. Thanks for listening,

Good-bye
Shelly
