I really don't know where to begin with Brady's story, so I will just start off with the day I found out I was pregnant. Which was a miracle for Brent and me!!!

It's a cool December afternoon in Sherman, Texas, and I'm wondering when I'm going to start my new cycle. It's been a while, I think. So, I look at the calendar, and it's been about 5 weeks. I'm late and that's never happened before!!! Of course, I can't be pregnant. It's IMPOSSIBLE, according to Dr. M, my fetility specialist. Jokingly, I tell Brent, my dh, "I think I may be pregnant, and I'm going to take a pregnancy test." Brent tells me not to waste the money, and that I will start soon. He's right, I'm definitely not pregnant and why waste the money on a hpt. So, I go about my day taking care of my 18 month old twin daughters, Ashlyn and Camille, who were conceived through in-vitro fertilization. Ashlyn and Camille were such active toddlers, who needed another baby so soon, anyway. That evening, I decided to have a "Mommy Night Out" and go to the mall shopping. After the mall, I stopped by Walmart, and I just couldn't resist buying two hpts. However, I was sure that these two hpts would be NEGATIVE, just like all the rest I had taken in my journey to conceive.

The next morning I woke up very early at 4:00 am. I decided this was the best time to take the hpt, since my dh didn't have any idea that I had bought the tests. I pee on the stick, wait 2 minutes and then I read the results. There's two very dark lines, I then shout very loudly, "I'M PREGNANT." Obviously, I wake up dh, and he thinks I am totally nuts!!! Brent insists the test is incorrect, so I take the other test just to prove him wrong. I'm still pregnant, according to the hpt. He acts cautiously happy, and says we will talk about it after he wakes up. How dare he not want to talk about it at 4:00 am. So, I call my mom and tell her. She is thrilled, but tells me not to get my hopes up, and to make an appointment with my doctor.

More of the story next time. My next entry won't be so long, I promise.

P.S. I will be submitting a picture of Brady soon.
